How it works
From URL to QR in two clicks. Upgrade to permanence when it matters.
01
Paste a URL
Drop in any destination. We mint a hosted eqr.link/xxx code in 200ms.
02
Print or share
Download PNG/SVG/PDF. Your printed pattern stays the same when the destination changes.
03
Edit anytime
For dynamic QRs, change the destination whenever your campaign shifts. The QR never reprints.
04
Upgrade critical codes
Paid Eternal codes add Base anchoring and recovery-key export for off-grid destination recovery.
Capabilities
Everything you need for QR campaigns. Nothing you don't.
Dynamic destinations
Update the URL behind your QR any time. The blockchain record resyncs automatically.
Geo & device routing
Send iOS users to the App Store, Android to Play, others to the web. Country-aware too.
Advanced analytics
24×7 heatmap, country drill-down, referrers, devices, live feed, CSV export.
Real-time scan events to your endpoint. Workspace-scoped API keys, 60 rpm.
Workspaces & roles
Shared QR portfolios with owner/member roles. RBAC across team seats.
Recovery key
Export the key tied to your paid Eternal records — recover anchored destinations off-grid.
Lead capture forms
Inline forms before redirect. Submissions piped through your webhook.
File hosting
Host PDFs, images, galleries directly under eqr.link with quota management.
Security
Per-user encryption, in plain English.
Every QR's destination URL is scrambled with a key unique to your account before it touches our database. If the database leaks, attackers get unreadable gibberish — not your links.

"Eternal" is the paid tier for QR codes that need recovery, not a claim about every free code. Eternal records are anchored to Base mainnet, the domain is paid through 2036, and you can download the key that decrypts your last anchored destination.
1.
The domain is paid through 2036
The continuity plan starts with a long-lived domain, not a rented shortlink.
2.
Paid Eternal codes are anchored
Encrypted destinations for the paid Eternal tier live on Base mainnet.
3.
You can export your recovery key
One download lets you recover the last anchored destination without Eternal QR servers.
Paid Eternal encrypted destinations live on Base mainnet — not just our database.
B
Your recovery key is on your laptop.
You downloaded it once. It's a small text file. Only you have it.
C
Recovery is independent.
A verifier can read the blockchain record and use your key to decrypt the last anchored destination.
One caveat. After we're gone, destinations can't be updated through our dashboard anymore. Recovery proves the last anchored URL; long-term automatic resolving depends on the continuity resolver path.
FAQ
Questions people ask before trusting a QR forever.
What happens to my QR codes if Eternal QR shuts down?
If you purchased our paid "Eternal" tier, your QR’s encrypted routing record is anchored to Base mainnet. Export your recovery key at any time to recover your destination off-grid — decrypted straight from the public blockchain, with no Eternal QR server needed. Note: Basic/Free tier codes operate on traditional servers and do not include blockchain anchoring.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static QR encodes one fixed destination forever. A dynamic QR points to a permanent eqr.link address whose destination you can edit at any time — change the URL after printing without reprinting the code.
Do my QR codes or slots ever expire?
No. Slots never expire and there is no subscription required to keep a purchased QR alive. You buy a slot once and it stays yours.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. We offer a Basic free tier that includes one simple QR code with analytics. No card required. Please note the free tier runs on standard web infrastructure and does not include Eternal blockchain anchoring or the verifiable recovery key.
Can I change where a QR code points after it is printed?
Yes, with a dynamic QR: update the destination in the dashboard whenever your campaign changes. The printed code itself never changes.
How does the blockchain backup work?
For paid "Eternal" tier codes, each QR’s encrypted routing record is anchored to Base mainnet (an Ethereum L2). Combined with your exportable recovery key, this makes the mapping from code to destination recoverable without our servers.
How is my data protected?
Destination URLs are encrypted with AES-256 using a key unique to your account before they touch the database. A database leak alone does not expose your destinations.
Can I route scans by country, device or time?
Yes — geo, device and time-based routing are available as add-ons: send iOS users to the App Store, German visitors to a German page, or switch destinations on a schedule.
Is there an API and webhooks?
Yes. Workspace-scoped API keys (60 requests per minute) and real-time scan webhooks are available on the Subscriber plan.
How much does Eternal QR cost?
Free: one static QR. Pay-as-you-go: dynamic QR slots from $2.99 and one-time feature add-ons from $0.99, no recurring fees. Subscriber plans from $4.99/month add advanced analytics, API access and team features.
